The color is same as the picture. The wallet is very small, which is very good in the schoolbag. The pocket on the back of the wallet is very suitable for bus cards and school ID card.I bought this wallet because I was looking for something smaller to fit in my new (smaller) crossbody purse. The quality of the wallet is impressive and I would be happy to give it as a gift. The stitching is very well done and the feel of the material it is made of is soft and pleasant in my hand. The zipper on the coin purse section is well-stitched and glides smoothly. As for the color, I ordered the gray which is attractive. I think there is a slight hint of taupe in the gray but I am pleased with the color. If you are like me and carry your id and 3 or 4 other cards, consider this wallet. There is a VERY MINOR challenge which does not detract from the wallet and that is that I have to put my vaccine card in the section where you would place cash since the card is about 3/4 inch too big for the card slots.It’s definitely a pocket size wallet. Can fit around 3-4 cards but if u r someone with a lots of coins the back pocket might be a bit small for it (I mean it’s a small wallet so it doesn’t bother). The color looks different in my picture (I think it’s Bc of my light) but looking at the real product there’s barely any color difference. The only problem is the length is almost too short to hold American dollars. You have to work to get them in unwrinkled. Otherwise it’s a great wallet, key holder (if you have a key ring on the zipper) or entire purse with slots for credit cards and license.
