I'm 52 and I've had many wallets over the years and I know exactly what kind of wallet I need. This one! If you want high quality material and craftsmanship, so that your wallet lasts many years, AND you want it to provide just the right number of features...this is the one! I'm replacing one that has just about worn out, and looks it, with exactly the same kind, ... just brand new. If this is your style of wallet, this is the best.I've spent months hunting for a wallet like this and I was thrilled when I finally found it.It is PERFECT for anyone working in a city with mass transit.Pros:• No RFID blocking. This means I can use one of the outside pockets for my Ventra card (which gets me on busses and trains) and the other outside pocket for my WeWork card (which gets me into my building and office). RFID scamming is massively overblown as an issue and RFID-blocking wallets force you to take key cards out of your wallet every time to use them. Now I just pull out my closed wallet, slide it across the scanner, and I'm on my way.• No logo on the outsideI'm baffled as to why so many wallets put a huge ugly stamp of their logo on the outside of the wallet. This wallet is clean and sleek, with an understated debossing on the inside that's hardly noticeable.• 6 internal card slotsCredit card, debit card, store credit card, ID, insurance, HSA card. Seems sturdy enough to withstand doubling up, but what more do you need?• Smart money-clip constructionSome money-clip wallets put the money-clip on an inside pocket along the fold of the wallet. This is bad for a few reasons. It makes the money-clip prone to fall out, robs the hinge from having a solid backing (which makes the clip very hard to open at all) AND makes opening/closing the clip wear down and eventually rip the pocket. This money clip is outwardly secured which solves ALL of those problems. Secure, sturdy, easy, and no wear and tear when I open/close it.Also a lot of places in the city don't accept cards. Now when I need to carry cash I can and when I don't need cash there's no excess leather creating bulk in my pocket.• Slim designThis is not an "impossibly slim" wallet or anything like that, but it is the least bulky wallet I've ever had. Fits in my front or back pocket easily.Cons (Nit-picks, really. This thing is great.):• Taller than it needs to beThe bills only go as high as the second card holder slot. Wish they had stopped at two cards high for this wallet (or made them closer together, or something in that vein). Could have substantially reduce its size. I assume this was a decision made to try to reduce bulk by laying them farther/flatter apart.• Backwards money clip placementMoney clip comes with the hinge on top of the wallet. I suspect, again, this is to reduce bulk and store the cash where the thinnest layer of credits cards are. The downside with that though, is that money might slip out the bottom (even though the clip is very strong). That said - it was an easy fix! I was able to push out the clip with a chopstick and then push it back in as a bottom-hinging clip. Now I love pretty much everything about it!Overall, if you need to hold cash and use more than one key card or transit card on a daily basis, this wallet is second-to-none. Well-built and great value. Highly recommend!I received this wallet and was happy with its size - it can fit US bills no problem, and european bills. The card slips are indeed big enough to easily fit standard size credit cards, insurance cards, costco card, business cards, etc... With it being brand new, the cards slide firmly into the pockets, however the width of the pockets is not a "barely fits" like other wallets, this wallet's pockets just "fit" cards. My only hesitation, and its possible there is inconsistency with the money clip part, but my money clip doesn't "pinch" very hard, and I can see having more than 20 bills being a problem because once it gets that thick, the clip reaches its "pop open" state. When there are only a few bills, or even just less than 20, the pinch mechanism isn't firm enough for me preference. I would like it to pinch really hard to ensure my money doesn't fling out. I can get the money to fling out if I hold the wallet by its sides, open, and lightly move the wallet up and down the money slowly starts to slide. Fortunately, it looks like this mechanism is removable from the wallet itself, which I love, and maybe I can find one locally that pinches really hard.*****UPDATE*****I received a response within 10 minutes after emailing the company - and they are sending me a handful of the money clip mechanisms to replace the out of ordinarily "weak" money clip that came with my wallet. I am pretty happy with their customer service. Based on other reviews, it seems like the money clip is indeed one that pinches firmly, which is what I was hoping for. What can I say about this product that will not be said by just looking at the pictures and realizing it’s a wallet that I bought 6 years ago and it still is in this condition? It speaks volumes about how durable this wallet is. I have taken it to numerous countries and trips, used it daily and it still looks great. I am about to replace it with another same one (different color) and I don’t know if I will be able to let this one go. I don’t usually get sentimental about products, but this wallet is the closest ‘Buy It For Life’ product I have ever come across. The only small downside is that credit cards can fall out sometimes, but I think it’s due to how dirty the leather inside gets (and loses its ‘stickiness’) since I’ve never bothered to clean it. Otherwise, it’s perfect.my boyfriend is very happy with his wallet. it is very well made and he likes the style of the money clip. we are pleased. great delivery time too. thank you
